Āina Carbon Collective unites private Hawaiian landowners under a single Verra-certified carbon credit program — distributing revenue back to members at zero upfront cost, for as long as the land is cared for.
Fourteen tiers, named for the Hawaiian landscape itself — from a single backyard parcel to the largest private landholdings in the islands.
"Mālama ʻāina — to care for the land — is not a slogan here. It is the entire reason this Collective exists."
— Soktha Nhim, Founder & CEO
Enrollment never transfers title or control. You continue to own, live on, and steward your land exactly as before — we simply help it generate income it was already capable of producing.
Verra certification, audits, legal, and program administration are advanced by the Collective. Members never pay certification costs out of pocket — full stop.
Every distribution cycle, members receive a written statement showing enrolled acres, credits allocated, revenue earned, and fees deducted — pro-rata, by the acre.
Membership runs fifty years with automatic renewal — matched to how long high-integrity carbon credit projects actually take to reach their full value.
The Collective handles every technical, legal, and administrative step. Your part is simple: enroll, maintain your land, and receive your share.
Sign an NDA and Membership Agreement. Provide your TMK parcel number and acreage. Your tier and annual fee are set automatically.
Your acreage joins the Collective's grouped Verra VCS project — pooled with hundreds of thousands of other enrolled acres statewide.
The Collective manages the entire certification process — methodology, audits, and verification — at no cost to you.
Once credits are sold, your pro-rata share — based on enrolled acres — is paid out, with full statements every cycle.
Fourteen tiers — from Seed to Nā Aina Kai — cover every scale of Hawaiian landholding. Fees are due at signing and fixed for the first ten years.
